Rotary International's Service Above Self National Medal of Honor is awarded to worthy recipients for providing exemplary service to the citizens of Sumter County.
Rotary will host a luncheon in honor of recipients at the Rotary Meeting on TUESDAY, APRIL 14TH at 1 pm in the Private Dining Room on the campus of GSW. We will honor a Police Of ficer of the Year (from Americus Police Department), a Deputy of the Year (from Sumter County Sheriff’s Of fice), and Fire Fighters of the Year (one each from Americus Fire Department and the Sumter County Fire Department).
