END POLIO NOW - World Polio Day Awareness Campaign

Americus Rotary delivered a social media campaign leading up to World Polio Day highlighting Rotary's involvement in the eradication of polio and the steps taken to ensure we have zero cases reported. Posts were made from October 20 through 24 and we hosted local polio survivor, Ms. Mary Beth Rogers, at the regular weekly Rotary meeting on October 22. She addressed members about her experience, the misinformation during the time, and her feelings about the importance of polio vaccination.
