On February 22, 2019, Atlanta History Center opened Cyclorama: The Big Picture, featuring the fully restored cyclorama painting, The Battle of Atlanta. At the centerpiece of this new multi-media experience is a 132-year-old hand-painted work of art that stands 49 feet tall, is longer than a football field, and weighs 10,000 pounds. This painting is one of only two cycloramas in the United States—the other being the Battle of Gettysburg cyclorama —making Atlanta home to one of America’s largest historic treasures.

Meet new head coaches Aaron Coombs (Men's) and Justin Payne (Women's), assistants and players. Get an update on what is anticipated as the Canes and Lady Canes compete in the NCAA Division 2 Peachbelt Conference, expectations on and off the court, and how they are making Americus their new home!

Debbie Bell will provide a quick update on what the process is & some of my goals for both programs. She is working with Main Street to plan a Downtown Cleanup Day on 9/21 and will be looking for opportunities to partner with Rotary for volunteer recruitment.
