Back to School Bash - Distribution FREE School Supplies

Rotary Club of Americus joined forces with other area organizations, non-profits and churches to give out free school supplies to children in our community. The event was coordinated by the Americus Police Department (APD Chief is a Rotarian) and eliminated duplication of services, ensuring that more children got needed supplies. Americus Rotarians gave out 100 packets to 2nd and 3rd grade students with supplies off of their list which included 3-pronged folders, composition books, 24 pack of crayons and pack of glue sticks. We also included a flyer which talked about the 4-way test. See attached for example.
