Americus Rotarians hear from Valdosta State's Center for South Georgia Regional Impact

At the regular Americus Rotary meeting on April 2nd, Darrell Moore with VSU's Center for South Georgia Regional Impact gave the Americus Rotarians information about the work being done to improve quality of life across South Georgia. One of their many projects is an effort to help every community get their citizens included in the upcoming 2020 U.S. census. Being under-counted in the census can negatively affect federal funding for local projects, and lead to less representation for the communities in our elected bodies. Thank you, Mr. Moore, for a great presentation!
